These are 4 Red Bone puppies that were found at 4a.m. Aug. 30th on a backroad. They were left by some1 who is sick minded and believed that letting PUPPIes suffer in the wild with no thought as to what to do in survival and as well injured from being thrown from a vehicle(i know cause they were injured and had only been out there for at the most 2days) left with 3 dogs they can move free suffering from ant bites, fleas, and red mane but 1 was left with a dislocated front left leg.
I was taking Tara out for a drive down old Sheridan roads she never been on and we came upon them in the road just laying there and when i got out of the vehicle they immediately swarmed me looking for food and love. I emotionally hurt from seeing their pain from the suffering rushed home to grab food for them but when I came back for them i saw that they had attempted to follow me looking for a home. The three unwounded ones were about 200yrd from when i found them but i drove past them to search for the injured one and found her about 30yrds from where we left them....I couldn't bare to watch her limp on a starving injured body of skin and bone and looked up at Tara and begged her to let me at least take them to the city. She of course out of the kindness of her heart that I fell in love with, agreed and we picked them all up and placed them in the trunk of the Jeep liberty with a Mushroom chair as a pillow to lay on for the time being. Of course the first place we find is....Wal*Mart.
We know the lady who runs the night shift at the check out desk and chose to speak to her about the poor pups. She wasn't sure of what to do and was thankfully as worried for their safety as much as we were. She phoned for a police officer to come by to help us and of course he was of no help at all and told me to keep them over night and bring them to the P.D. at 8a.m. I had to take them home and silently hide them in the extra set of fencing we had for the Cockers. My step dad....wasn't to thrilled but thank God my mother feels the same for animals as I do so he let me keep them for the night.
8a.m comes around....the police dept. won't take them. I didn't realize that if they come from the city limits they can't be taken in by them which i still don't understand but i didn't know. I have a great friend that answered my prayers with options for what i could do with them and his Mom was the greatest help she called a Rescue Society(R.S.) to take care of them while my friend, Corey, asked his Sister Shannon to give them a flea bath. The pups were cleaned up and then taken back home till the R.S. could help....Joe wasn't happy and was frustrated to see them back....he was no help so i had to desperately think of a place to let them stay till sm1 helps.
I called my Grandmother and begged for help cause I couldn't let them just die after all I've done so far. She said "let me come home in 30 mins. and I'll see what I can do." I trusted her completely and decided to calm down witha McDonalds Sweet Tea. I recieved a phone call very quick after finishing at Mickey D's and Mamaw had found a Temporary home for them. We followed the directions to the home to find A very sweet lady named Tami(or tammy not sure) and as the photo shows in the top they look happy to see that they are on their way to a new home shortly.
God can use us in many different ways.
I was used to save 4 lives that day....You never know when he's going to call on you so be ready anytime and if it's really God's wish for you...he will help you...He did me and 4 little puppies find a new home.
